Following 3 timed group games, the 8 teams were then seeded for the afternoons knockout stages.
The only unbeaten pair from the group games were Tony and Cheryl who then played last years winners Nigel and Judith.
Current form prevailed with Tony and Cheryl winning 13-8 to book a Semi Final against Phil and Marion, who had beaten Kevin and Rachel 13-7 in the quarterfinals.
In the other half of the draw, Simon and Stuart beat Glenn and Keith 13-9 to book a semifinal against Matt and John who beat Peter and Luisa 13-12. A great comeback by Matt and John who were 2 points away from being fannied.
In the semifinals, Phil and Marion always looked comfortable against Tony and Cheryl winning 13-7. Simon and Stuart made short work of beating Matt and John 13-4. With the sun shining and the temperature rising,for Matt and John it was probably one game to many after their epic quarterfinal.
In the final, Phil and Marion were always chasing the game, with Simon and Stuart comfortable winners 13-3, with a combination of top class pointing and shooting.
