After a show of hands, everyone agreed to play 3 rounds of the full discipline of shooting, with the score of all three rounds added up. The top four would then play seeded semis and a final.
The reigning National Champion Jallal Talbi was top seed with a combined score of 62.
Second seed was Akil Vasram with a score of 55.
Third seed was Allen Kemp on 31, with fourth seed Les Shilling on 15.
Jallal scored 16 to Les’s 6 to make the final. and was joined by Allen who scored 26 to beat Akil who scored 8.
Jallal always had the edge over Allen in the final and scored 23 to add the APA shooting champion to his national title. Allen battled hard but could only manage 11, to finish up as runner-up for the second year running.
